Trenton police are investigating two separate stabbings that occurred just minutes apart on Friday night, leaving two men hospitalized and prompting increased concern from city officials and residents.

The first stabbing took place shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Third Street. Responding officers found a male victim suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. Emergency Medical Services quickly transported him to the trauma unit at Capital Health Regional Medical Center for urgent treatment.

Less than 10 minutes later, at approximately 10:10 p.m., first responders were called to the 600 block of Hoffman Avenue, where another man was discovered with a stab wound. He too was transported to Capital Health’s trauma center for medical care.

At this time, the conditions of both victims remain unknown, and their identities have not been publicly released. Authorities have not confirmed whether the incidents are related.

Trenton Police are actively investigating both cases and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from the areas and canvassing for witnesses who may have seen or heard anything unusual.

City officials are calling for calm as the investigation continues and have assured the public that steps are being taken to maintain safety in the affected neighborhoods.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Trenton Police Department’s anonymous tip line or Crime Stoppers.
